Here's a link to a video that I uploaded about an 30 min ago, but it's an unlisted link, so only people with the link can view the video. I thought I'd put it up on my blog for the fans who'd like to see something. This video is just a test, and I hardly did anything but slow down footage, add music, add sounds, and change brightness and contrast in some parts. I don't really know how to work Sony Vegas all that well, but once I learn a few more basics, I can probably make a half decent montage. Enjoy I suppose, it really is nothing much. The footage in the video was just recorded about an hour ago and I wanted to fool around with Sony Vegas.

ReplyDeleteActually no, I'm sitting almost pretty much in the open, with a wall several feet in front of me. There is no wall to my left, but one to my right, a foot or so to the right.

1. I have a request for a review. AUG A3. or AUG A3 SE. I know the stats aren't spectacular but I love the gun for some reason, don't know why.
2. I know that the G36E is a fantastic all round gun, but I find that once mastered, the L85A1 MOD (with higher ROF) is better than the G36E in CQB, and at long range I find it more accurate (Statisticss can lie, and I have extensively tested it). One thing I will say for the G36E is it might be easier to use, but I believe the L85A1 MOD might be better. What are your thoughts?

1. I've reviewd the AUG A3 :), it was one of my first reviews, you should go watch it. I don't like it terribly, but it's ok.
ReplyDelete2. L85A1 Mod does have a faster fire rate and only 1 damage less, however it has a greater spread and a bad spread recovery. That is to say, it would be harder to get accolades in closer quarters. However, it can potentially kill faster, but with that said, the G36E IMO still kills faster do to the tigher spread.
As for long ranges, I very strongly disagree with you. The G36E has a much greater range and accuracy. The L85A1 is much better than average, but with the G36E, you could tap fire as much as 4-5 less bullets while getting your headshot at long distances.
3. Custom reticle #1. It's the default crosshairs but with a dot in the middle. The reason it's my favourite is because it's close to the default (which is what most gamers are used to) with the exception of a wonderful dot in the middle of it :D. The other ones are just distracting (especially #3 or #2, w/e one has diagonal crosshairs, that's a bad idea lol). The custom reticle that looks like a T would also be nicer with the added top crosshair. The Circle reticle is nice for seeing your overall spread, but I find it unecessary and annoying at times and harder to aim when I use SMG's.

Perhaps the reason I find the L85A1 MOD more accurate is because of the scope. It is dead centre unlike the G36E. I tested both across Roadkill and the L85A1 MOD hit heads at far range 90% of time, and G36E hit maybe 50% of time. Third could be due to the scope difference. I could get used to where to aim for, (top of circle right?) but I think in the middle of a fire fight I would rather not be thinking that the centre of the cross hair isn't the centre of the scope.
