So I made a new video! It's actually on a game I used to play before I picked up CA on the PC, and I haven't played it in about 2 years. So I'm still just breaking off a little bit of rust, but I decided to play a game just for nostalgic reasons.
This game is great for developing good aim in CQC (and long range too, learning to control recoil) and also for learning to listen to sound! I might post up on this blog sometime when I'll be playing F.E.A.R Combat, and if any of you decide to get it (it's 100% free) and download it, we can play together ; ). There's a lot more stuff I wanted to say in the video, but didn't get to because I talk too much nonsense lol.

ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find a server on F.E.A.R and there seems to be really wierd controls?? There is like a different key to look up instead of just moving your mouse forward??
ReplyDeleteThe controls in F.E.A.R are for the most part exactly the same as Combat Arms except "c" is to crouch and "Shift" is to aim/walk. "G" is to toss a grenade.

W is to move forward, A and D are to strafe left and right, S is to move backwards, and you move your mouse to aim and look around.

Hm... Im having trouble installing... I have the 1.07 version but when I find a download link and download a file to update it to 1.08.. It doesn't work. I dled the US F.E.A.R Verson and I also downloaded the US F.E.A.R uploader :O. When I try to install, it says fear is not installed on this computer or w/e.

ReplyDeleteThat is the exact same problem I had for over a year until a good friend of mine showed me some method (in which I have absolutely no idea how anymore) to update to 1.08, which is now the Version I play. I'm thinking of going back to 1.07 or at least re-installing F.E.A.R anyway, then updating to 1.08 using the file I have. I don't know if it'll work or not but we'll just have to see. Maybe I'll upload the version update that I have on my computer, I think it may still work.
Btw you CANNOT update to v1.08 using the in-game message thing, you have to literally google "FEAR v1.07 to v1.08 update" to get the correct file, try that.

I waited for reviews and listened to your word and the Famas G2 is the gun I use now. I appreciate it, but I feel kinda bad for you since you are so good.

Bax, That was exactly what I did.. I tried the CNet Link but it turned out to be the UK one, so i searched up a U.S one and dled it and got that problem.

I am 18 and a freshmen in college but a few years ago before I played Combat Arms I used to play Counter Strike 1.6 I never had a chance to play Counter Strike Source. I swear the mechanics in Counter Strike look very similar to FEAR in the way the games are played. You are right, video games are a waste of time but the are really fun. Anyway I have to go right an English 101 proposal by the end of the week so I'm going to go work on it. ~Bogy34

hey man,been watching some of your vids and saw the one about the TPG-1. I bought the tpg-1 pro perm the day it came out,it is currently my only perm sniper.and only perm weapon besides g36 valk. and i wanted to point something out that i didn't see in your video. One major problem with the tpg1 i've found compared to the dsr1.Even though the dsr1 has less damage in stats i believe it actually has more.I play kill creek elimination about 90% of the time. If you go to the left side of base and sit on cliff and snipe it usually is a 1shot kill straight across,unless u go all the way back against the wall in which case it turns into a 2 shot kill unless headshot,and I picked up the dsr1 sub,regular,and tactical from friends and they do not have this issue. I only picked up on it after over a month of playing with the rifle,always thought it was a tanked shot,but it is a 100% constant,just wanted to let u know my opinion on it.But over all it is by far my favorite rifle in the game and i nvr regret buying it,it has gotten me over 25% of my kills as of now. ign-cloud3234 clan-Christian SNiper

ReplyDelete-I had this problem and now no how to fix it, Google "FEAR Combat v1.08 update" and download from any website that offers it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD "FEAR v1.08" I has to say "FEAR Combat" otherwise you will get an error saying that the game is not installed.
